Our Program

Our program is built around photography, storytelling, and sport, combined with long-term pathways that support learning, well-being, and inclusion.

Preparation

Before each program begins, we set strong foundations to ensure quality, safety, and meaningful impact.

Partner Schools

We collaborate with selected schools and community centers, align goals, plan schedules, and prepare spaces and equipment.

Training Mentors

All mentors receive training on child-centered teaching, cultural context, communication, and workshop methods to ensure a positive learning experience.

Safeguarding

Safety is essential. All staff follow strict safeguarding rules: background checks, mandatory training, and responsible photography guidelines — including no child being identifiable online without explicit consent.

Tailored Workshops for Schools

Schools can choose the format that best fits their needs: a Photography Workshop, a Sport Workshop, or both. If both workshops are selected, the Sport Workshop is usually held before the Photography Workshop, allowing children to build confidence, energy, and team spirit ahead of their creative session.

Sport⚡Spark brings simple, playful, and accessible physical activities next to our workshops to support disadvantaged children.

Through movement, teamwork, and confidence-building exercises, Sport Spark helps kids stay focused, feel stronger, and express themselves more freely.

All kids can participate — even those who will not attend the photography workshop — and teachers plus KS photographers are welcome to join.

Photography Workshop

Kids Snapshots offers activity helps them discover photography, express their creativity, and become visual storytellers for their community.

  • Day 1 begins with a short introduction to camera basics, followed by hands-on practice in pairs. In the afternoon, children take photos around the school or—if permissions allow—outside the school grounds, supervised by teachers and KS photographers.

  • Day 2 focuses on editing. Children learn the basics of Lightroom, select their best images, and edit 1–3 final photos with guidance from KS mentors.

Before each workshop, teachers inform children about the schedule, objectives, photo categories (portrait, daily life, nature, action, architecture…), and the message or story they want their final photo to express.
