Today, we are proud to highlight an athlete whose journey embodies resilience and inspiration: Ellen Guiney.

At 28, Ellen has already built an extraordinary path in endurance sport. She is a 70.3 Ironman triathlete, a former professional cyclist, and a woman who races with a rare combination of power, humility, and joy.

Why She Inspires Us

Ellen embodies the values we want children around the world to see:

  • courage to set big goals,

  • discipline to work for them,

  • joy in the process,

  • and kindness in every interaction.

Her journey proves that success isn’t about perfection — it’s about commitment, heart, and the willingness to rise again and again.

Ellen is not just a triathlete.
She is a role model, a force of nature, and a reminder that with passion and perseverance, anything is possible.

A Mindset Built for Greatness

What makes Ellen so remarkable isn’t only her athletic ability, but the way she approaches life. Her philosophy is rooted in consistency, patience, and strong self-belief. She often says that the key is showing up every day, even when motivation fades.

Her favourite reminder is simple, but powerful:

“Pain is temporary. Victory lasts forever.”

A Journey Fueled by Passion

Ellen competes in both Olympic distance triathlons (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run) and the challenging 70.3 format — a half-Ironman that includes a 2 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run.

Over the past several years, she has raced 70.3 events across Switzerland, France, and Australia, and represented her country at the World Championships in both Switzerland and France.

Before returning full-time to triathlon, Ellen also spent two seasons racing as a professional cyclist with elite women’s teams — an achievement that says everything about her talent and discipline.
